This map shows some of the major peace movements of the years between 1100 to 1500, mostly centered on the populous urban centers of Italy. These include the Franciscan and Humiliati movements , as well as the movements of the Great Alleluia (1233) , the Flagellants (1260) , of Venturino da Bergamo (1335) , and of the Bianchi  (1399) . The blue line marks the route of Venturino da Bergamo’s Peace Crusade of 1335.
